Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to crash the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in the routing protocol daemon (rpd). A remote attacker can send a BGP update with a specifically malformed AS PATH to cause rpd to crash. 

Mitigation

Install updates from vendor's website.
