Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-6704)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload in the Secure PDF eXchange (SPX) feature. A remote attacker can upload a malicious file and execute it on the system.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability requires a specific configuration of SPX in combination with the firewall running in High Availability (HA) mode.
2) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7624)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the legacy (transparent) SMTP proxy. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
3) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7382)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation on High Availability (HA) auxiliary devices, if OTP authentication for the admin user is enabled. A remote unauthenticated attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) Business Logic Errors (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-13974)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to a business logic error in the Up2Date component. A remote attacker controlling the firewall’s DNS environment can execute arbitrary code on the system.
5) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-13973)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in WebAdmin. A remote authenticated user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands, leading to privilege escalation.
