The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability occurs when running program bsdtar in function header_pax_extension() at rchive_read_support_format_tar.c:1844:8. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
