Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cleartext storage of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53656)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to the affected application stores SLM License Access Keys, client secrets, and passwords unencrypted in job config.xml files on the Jenkins controller as part of its configuration. A remote user can gain access to secret information.
2) Insufficiently protected credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53657)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to the global configuration form does not mask SLM License Access Keys. A remote user can gain access to sensitive information on the system.
