Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53658)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data within the Applitools URL on the build page. A remote user can inject and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.


2) Insufficiently protected credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53743)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the global configuration form does not mask Applitools API keys. A remote user can gain access to sensitive information on the system.


3) Cleartext storage of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53742)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application stores Applitools API keys unencrypted in job config.xml files on the Jenkins controller as part of its configuration. A remote user can gain access to secret information.
