Description

This security bulletin contains information about 14 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Type Confusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7999)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a type confusion error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted AR file, trigger a type confusion error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7993)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted LI file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8006)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted XE file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

4) Type Confusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8002)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a type confusion error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted CO file, trigger a type confusion error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

5) Type Confusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8005)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a type confusion error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted XE file, trigger a type confusion error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

6) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8001)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted CO file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

7) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8004)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted XE file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

8) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8003)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted CO file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

9) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7997)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted XE file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

10) Type Confusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8000)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a type confusion error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted LI file, trigger a type confusion error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

11) Type Confusion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7995)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a type confusion error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted CO file, trigger a type confusion error and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

12) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7996)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted AR file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

13) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7998)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted CO file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

14) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7994)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted AR file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.
