This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.

1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-38212)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the shm_try_destroy_orphaned() function in ipc/shm.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.

2) Improper locking (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-38324)

3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-38391)
