The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the dump_completed_IO(), ext4_add_complete_io() and ext4_init_io_end() functions in fs/ext4/page-io.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
