Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Cleartext transmission of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57727)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to software uses insecure communication channel to transmit credentials via a remote reference. A remote attacker can obtain victim's credentials under certain circumstances. 


2) Incorrect authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57728)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to discover hidden files.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect authorization. A remote user with "Code With Me guest" permissions can discover hidden files. 


3) Inclusion of Functionality from Untrusted Control Sphere (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57729)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to bypass security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to unexpected plugin startup caused by automatic LSP server start. A remote user can gain access to sensitive information. 


4) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57730)

The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data within the Remote Development feature. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
