Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8302)
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the N6CSet_DOT11_CIPHER_DEFAULT_KEY function. A local user can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.
2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8300)
The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the N6CSet_DOT11_CIPHER_DEFAULT_KEY function. A local user can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.
