Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-9188)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted DSB file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57778)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted DSB file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

3) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57777)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted DSB file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

4) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57776)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted DSB file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

5) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57775)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted DSB file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

6) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57774)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted DSB file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

7) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-9189)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted DSB file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
