The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the __sev_platform_init_handle_init_ex_path() and __sev_platform_init_locked() functions in drivers/crypto/ccp/sev-dev.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
