The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper locking within the mt9m114_ifp_get_frame_interval() and mt9m114_ifp_set_frame_interval() functions in drivers/media/i2c/mt9m114.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
