1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-39786)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an out-of-bounds read error within the ad7173_set_syscalib_mode(), ad7173_get_syscalib_mode() and ad7173_write_syscalib() functions in drivers/iio/adc/ad7173.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
