SB2025092427 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Viessmann Vitogate 300

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-9494)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote administrator on the local network can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

2) Client-Side Enforcement of Server-Side Security (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-9495)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient client-side validation. A remote user on the local network can modify the client-side behavior to bypass the protection mechanisms, leading to unexpected interactions between the client and server.
