This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-54989)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the parsing of XDR messages. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Improper Check for Unusual or Exceptional Conditions (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-24975)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to improper error handling when using ExtConnPool. A remote user can gain unauthorized access an encrypted database or crash the application.
