Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Command Injection (CVE-ID: N/A)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation in httpd_debug.asp. A remote attacker on the local network can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands.


2) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57636)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the sub_47F028 function in jhttpd. A remote unauthenticated attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57637)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the sub_451754 function of the jhttpd service in the viav4 parameter. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
