Description

This security bulletin contains information about 6 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-58775)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

2) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-58776)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

3) Buffer underflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-61690)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to buffer underflow issue. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

4) Access of Uninitialized Pointer (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-58777)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when handling untrusted data. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted file, trigger access to an uninitialized pointer and execute arbitrary code on the system.

5) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-61691)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

6) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-61692)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error when. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
