1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-53587)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the rb_free_cpu_buffer() and ring_buffer_free() functions in kernel/trace/ring_buffer.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
Remediation
