1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-50554)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the blk_mq_rq_timed_out(), blk_mq_req_expired(), blk_mq_put_rq_ref(), blk_mq_check_expired() and blk_mq_timeout_work() functions in block/blk-mq.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
