The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error in the PFE management daemon (evo-pfemand). A remote attacker  on the local network can send multicast traffic to any layer 3 interface and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability affects ACX7024, ACX7024X, ACX7100-32C, ACX7100-48L, ACX7348, and ACX7509 devices.
