1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-55687)

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in Windows Resilient File System (ReFS). A local attacker can exploit the race and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information and escalate privileges on the system.


2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-59206)

The vulnerability allows a local attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows Resilient File System (ReFS). A local attacker can win a race condition and gain elevated privileges on the target system.
