This security bulletin contains information about 4 vulnerabilities.

1) Resource exhaustion

EUVDB-ID: #VU103980

Risk: Medium

CVSSv4.0: 6.6 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]

CVE-ID: CVE-2024-12133

CWE-ID: CWE-400 - Resource exhaustion

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources processing a large number of SEQUENCE OF or SET OF elements in a certificate. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install update from vendor's website.

Vulnerable software versions

MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0 - 9.4.0

Q & A

Can this vulnerability be exploited remotely?

Yes. This vulnerability can be exploited by a remote non-authenticated attacker via the Internet.

Is there known malware, which exploits this vulnerability?

No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.

2) Security features bypass

EUVDB-ID: #VU90156

Risk: Low

CVSSv4.0: 1.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:L/AC:L/AT:P/PR:H/UI:A/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear]

CVE-ID: CVE-2024-35195

CWE-ID: CWE-254 - Security Features

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the session object does not verify requests after making first request with verify=False. A local administrator can bypass authentication.

Mitigation

Install update from vendor's website.

Vulnerable software versions

MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0 - 9.1.0

CPE2.3 External links

Q & A

Can this vulnerability be exploited remotely?

No. This vulnerability can be exploited locally. The attacker should have authentication credentials and successfully authenticate on the system.

Is there known malware, which exploits this vulnerability?

No. We are not aware of malware exploiting this vulnerability.

3) Infinite loop

EUVDB-ID: #VU110191

Risk: Low

CVSSv4.0: 1.2 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:A/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Clear]

CVE-ID: CVE-2025-5399

CWE-ID: CWE-835 - Loop with Unreachable Exit Condition ('Infinite Loop')

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop within the WebSocket code. A malicious web server can send a specially crafted packet to the libcurl application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Mitigation

Install update from vendor's website.

Vulnerable software versions

MySQL Cluster: 8.0.0 - 9.4.0

CPE2.3 External links

4) Type Confusion

EUVDB-ID: #VU111223

Risk: Medium

CVSSv4.0: 2.7 [CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green]

CVE-ID: CVE-2025-49796

CWE-ID: CWE-843 - Type confusion

Exploit availability: No

Description

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a type confusion error within the xmlSchematronFormatReport() function when processing sch:name elements in schematron.c. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a type confusion error and crash the application.

Mitigation

Install update from vendor's website.
