CWE-ID: CWE-20 - Improper input validation
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:L/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected application.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Apache HttpClient. A remote attacker can pass request URIs to the library as java.net.URI object and force the application to pick the wrong target host for request execution.
2) Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8916)
CWE-ID: CWE-770 - Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:L/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper resource allocation. A remote attacker can library to consume excessive resources and perform a denial of service attack.
3) Uncontrolled Recursion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53864)
CWE-ID: CWE-674 - Uncontrolled Recursion
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:N/UI:N/VC:N/VI:N/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:L/E:U/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack via a deeply nested JSON object supplied in a JWT claim set.
4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-61763)
CWE-ID: CWE-20 - Improper input validation
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:U/U:Amber
The vulnerability allows a remote authenticated user to read and manipulate data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Essbase Web Platform component in Oracle Essbase. A remote authenticated user can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.
