Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 vulnerabilities.
1) Improper authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-46818)
CWE-ID: CWE-287 - Improper Authentication
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges within the application.
The vulnerability exists due to an error when handling Lua scripts. A remote user can manipulate different LUA objects and potentially run their own code in the context of another user.
2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-46819)
CWE-ID: CWE-125 - Out-of-bounds read
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:P/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:N/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition when processing Lua scripts. A remote user can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system or perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-49844)
CWE-ID: CWE-416 - Use After Free
CVSSv4: CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:P/U:Green
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error. A remote user can use a specially crafted Lua script to manipulate the garbage collector and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
