The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to missing checks within the LZ4F_createCDict_advanced() function in lib/lz4frame.c. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted archive and crash the application.
