SB2025102933 - Multiple vulnerabilities in GCC Productions Inc. Fade In

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53814)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in the XML parser functionality. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted .xml file and execute arbitrary code on the target syste.

2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53855)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input in the XML parser functionality. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted .fadein file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
