DescriptionThe vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper preservation of permissions in Elastic Defend on Windows hosts. A local user can delete arbitrary files on the system using the Defend service running as SYSTEM and escalate privileges.
