The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect handling of protocol-relative URLs (e.g. the URL that starts with "//") within the Angular HttpClient. A remote attacker can obtain CSRF token use by the application and bypass built-in CSRF protection.
