Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-59728)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when handling MPEG-DASH manifests. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted media file to the application, trigger a one-byte buffer overwrite and crash the application.
2) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-7700)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the decode_init() function in the ALS audio decoder. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted image to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
