Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-68388)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources. A remote attacker can send specially crafted IPv4 packets to trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-68381)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing UDP packets. A remote attacker can send specially crafted UDP packets over the network, trigger an out-of-bounds write and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-68382)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the NFS protocol dissector when handling truncated XDR-encoded RPC messages. A remote attacker can send specially crafted traffic over the network, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and perform a denial of service attack.
