Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-37891)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to Prox-Authorization header is not stripped during cross-origin redirects when using urllib3's proxy support with ProxyManager. A remote attacker can gain obtain proxy credentials used by the library.
2) Prototype pollution (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-33883)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation. A remote attacker can add or modify properties of Object.prototype using a __proto__ or constructor payload to execute arbitrary code on the system.
3) Security features bypass (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-35195)
The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to the session object does not verify requests after making first request with verify=False. A local administrator can bypass authentication.
4) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-39338)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.
