Description

This security bulletin contains information about 9 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-27807)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

2) Insecure DLL loading (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-57836)

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to the application loads DLL libraries in an insecure manner within the Magician installer. A local user can place a specially crafted .dll file and gain elevated privileges on the system.

3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-53966)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect handling of NL80211 vendor command. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

4) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-52519)

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in the issimian device driver. A local user can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack or gain access to sensitive information.

5) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-52517)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in the issimian device driver. A remote attacker can exploit the race and cause a denial of service condition on the system.

6) Untrusted Pointer Dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-52516)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to invalid kernel address dereference in the issimian device driver. A remote attacker can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

7) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-52515)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition in the issimian device driver. A remote attacker can exploit the race and cause a denial of service condition on the system.

8) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-49495)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect handling of NL80211 vendor command. A remote attacker can trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

9) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-43706)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect handling of RRC packet. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
