Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-15348)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted CHX file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


2) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-15349)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the SCPI component. A remote attacker on the local network can exploit the race and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
