Description
This security bulletin contains information about 8 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Exposed dangerous method or function (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-69258)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.
The vulnerability exists due to exposure of the LoadLibraryEX feature in MsgReceiver.exe that listens on port 20001/TCP. A remote non-authenticated attacker can send message 0x0a8d to load an attacker-controlled DLL into MsgReceiver.exe, leading to execution of attacker-supplied code under the security context of SYSTEM.
2) Unchecked return value (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-69259)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to an unchecked return value. A remote non-authenticated attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
3) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-69260)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
4) Improper authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-71209)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges within the application.
The vulnerability exists due to an error within the management console. A remote authenticated user can bypass authentication process and escalate privileges within the application.
5) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-71206)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when handling URLs in the Scheduled Update feature. A remote privileged user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
6) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-71205)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when handling hub server URLs. A remote privileged user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
7) Improper authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-71208)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges within the application.
The vulnerability exists due to an error within the management console. A remote authenticated user can bypass authentication process and escalate privileges within the application.
8) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-71207)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input when handling URLs in the Manual Update feature. A remote privileged user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
