Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-8916)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform service disruption.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Security and Provisioning (Bouncy Castle Java Library) component in Oracle Essbase. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform service disruption.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-23395)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. A remote attacker can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
3) Expected behavior violation (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-4575)
The vulnerability may allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access to the application.
The vulnerability exists due to an error in code related to usage of the "-addreject" option to reject certain x509 certificates. If the option is used, the certificated will be added as trusted instead of rejecting it.
4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-21926)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Server Infrastructure component in Siebel CRM Deployment. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
5) XML External Entity injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-33813)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied XML input within the SAXBuilder. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted XML code to the affected application and view contents of arbitrary files on the system or initiate requests to external systems.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability may allow an attacker to view contents of arbitrary file on the server or perform network scanning of internal and external infrastructure.
6) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-48989)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when handling HTTP/2 requests. A remote attacker can send specially crafted HTTP request to the web server and consume all available memory resources, leading to a denial of service.
Note, this vulnerability is known as HTTP/2 Made You Reset Attack.
7) Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-27817)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform SSRF attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in Apache Kafka Client. The application accepts configuration data for setting the SASL/OAUTHBEARER connection with the brokers, including "sasl.oauthbearer.token.endpoint.url" and "sasl.oauthbearer.jwks.endpoint.url". A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and trick the application to initiate requests to arbitrary systems.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker gain access to sensitive data, located in the local network or send malicious requests to other servers from the vulnerable system.
