Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-4741)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the SSL_free_buffers() function. A remote attacker can trigger a use-after-free error and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

Note, the vulnerability affects only applications that call the vulnerable function.


2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-23592)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences within the backup functionality. A remote privileged user can execute arbitrary commands on the affected system. 


3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-23593)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote non-authenticated attacker can view contents of certain system files.
