1) Improper locking (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-23153)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper locking within the split_transaction_timeout_callback() and transmit_complete_callback() functions in drivers/firewire/core-transaction.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
