SB2026022018 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Calibre

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-26064)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences within ODT reader. A remote attacker can write arbitrary files on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-26065)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences eReader PDB readers. A remote attacker can write arbitrary files on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.
