Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-22722)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error. A local user on the hypervisor can crash the system.
The vulnerability affects Windows installations only.
2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-22717)
The vulnerability allows a malicious guest to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A local unprivileged user on the guest VM can read certain data related to the host OS.
3) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-22716)
The vulnerability allows a malicious guest to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A local unprivileged user on the guest VM can trigger an out-of-bounds write and crash some Workstation processes on the host OS.
