Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-24785)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in html/template when parsing errors returned from MarshalJSON methods. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-61729)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources within the HostnameError.Error() function in crypto/x509 when printing error string for host certificate validation. A remote attacker can supply a specially crafted certificate to the application and trigger resource exhaustion, leading to a denial of service condition.
3) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-65637)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when using Entry.Writer() to log a single-line payload larger than 64KB without newline characters. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
