Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2019-17570)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data within the org.apache.xmlrpc.parser.XmlRpcResponseParser:addResult() method in Apache XML-RPC (aka ws-xmlrpc) library. A malicious XML-RPC server could target a XML-RPC client causing it to execute arbitrary code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-64775)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources when handling multipart requests. A remote attacker can consume all disk space on the system and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
