Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-0818)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to the way CSS is handled within the application. A remote attacker can exfiltrate content from partially encrypted emails when allowing remote content.
2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-2447)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in libvpx. A remote attacker can trick the victim into visiting a specially crafted webpage, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
