Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Interpretation Conflict (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-32908)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to HTTP/2 server in libsoup may not fully validate the values of pseudo-headers :scheme, :authority, and :path. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-32914)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the soup_multipart_new_from_message() function. A remote attacker can trick the victim into visiting a specially crafted website, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
3) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-0719)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the md4sum() function of libsoup’s NTLM authentication module (SoupAuthNTLM) when handling NTLM authentication requests. A remote attacker can send specially crafted input to the application, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) CRLF injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-1536)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to inject arbitrary data in server response.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of attacker-supplied data. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted HTTP request ta to the application containing CR-LF characters and modify application behavior.
5) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-1539)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to library does not remove data from Proxy-Authorization header when following redirects. A remote attacker can gain access to sensitive information passed via the Proxy-Authorization header.
6) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-1761)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the soup_filter_input_stream_read_until() function when parsing multipart/form-data response. A remote attacker can send specially crafted data to the application, trigger a stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
7) Inconsistent interpretation of HTTP requests (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-1801)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform HTTP request smuggling attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of HTTP requests in the soup_filter_input_stream_read_line(). A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request to the server and smuggle arbitrary HTTP headers.
Successful exploitation of vulnerability may allow an attacker to poison HTTP cache and perform phishing attacks.
