SB2026030650 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Rocket.Chat

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Improper Neutralization of Special Elements in Data Query Logic (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-30833)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the NoSQL injection issue in account service used in the ddp-streamer micro service. A remote attacker can manipulate MongoDB queries during authentication.

2) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-30831)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to the enterprise DDP Streamer service DDP Streamer does not enforce Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) or validate user account status. A remote user can bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
