Description
This security bulletin contains information about 10 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-2923)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the handling of coordinates. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3086)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input within the processing of APS units. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
3) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3084)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow within the parsing of picture partitions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
4) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-2921)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow within the handling of palette data in AVI files. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
5) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3085)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the processing of X-QDM RTP payloads. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
6) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3083)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the processing of X-QDM RTP payload elements. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
7) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-2922)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the processing of video packets. A remote attacker can trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
8) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-2920)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the processing of stream headers within ASF files. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
9) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3082)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the processing of Huffman tables. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
10) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3081)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error within the parsing of decoding units. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
