Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Validation of Specified Type of Input (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-26115)
The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper validation of specified type of input in SQL Server, which leads to security restrictions bypass and privilege escalation.
2) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-21262)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in SQL Server. A remote user can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain elevated privileges on the target system.
3) SQL injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-26116)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in SQL Server. A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
