Description

This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Insecure DLL loading (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-21333)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to the application loads DLL libraries in an insecure manner. A remote attacker can place a specially crafted .dll file on a remote SMB fileshare, trick the victim into opening a file, associated with the vulnerable application, and execute arbitrary code on victim's system.

2) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-21362)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-27271)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

4) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-27272)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

5) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-27267)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when handling files. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it using the affected software, trigger a stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

6) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-27268)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.

7) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-27270)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trick the victim into opening it, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and read contents of memory on the system.
