SB2026031329 - Multiple vulnerabilities in Unraid

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3838)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences within the update.php file. A remote user can send a specially crafted HTTP request and upload arbitrary files on the system, leading to arbitrary code execution.

2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-3839)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences within the auth-request.php file. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system, leading to authentication bypass.
