Description
This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload in the Documents & Files module. A remote user can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
2) Missing Authorization (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to the documents and files module does not verify whether the current user has permission to delete folders or files. A remote attacker can permanently destroy the entire document library.
3) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: N/A)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data in the eCard send handler. A remote user can trick the victim to follow a specially crafted link and execute arbitrary HTML and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
4) Missing Authorization (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to improper authorization validation on forum topic and post deletion. A remote user can delete any topic (with all its posts) or any individual post by providing its UUID.
5) SQL injection (CVE-ID: N/A)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary SQL queries in database.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data within list configuration (lsc_special_field, lsc_sort, lsc_filter). A remote user can send a specially crafted request to the affected application and execute arbitrary SQL commands within the application database.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to read, delete, modify data in database and gain complete control over the affected application.
